Shall We Raise Our Hands

My dear friends!
Let me tell you that, I totally support the people who say "yes, we should raise our hands whenever required and never stay quiet."And even the third law of Newton says 'every action has its equal and opposite reaction.'

Recently there was a terrorist attack in Nice and nearly 80 people were killed. Now, do you still say that we should clip our mouth and sit in a corner. Terrorists killing us like mosquitoes and flies. We have all the rights to fight back.

There was news that a student of class 10 committed suicide just because his friends bullied him. What was he doing then? Why did he stay quiet? He could have bullied them back or complained the teacher, but no, he didn't do that and rather lost his life.

Mahatma Gandhi said, "if someone slaps you on one cheek then show the other. But why? Then when Nathuram Godse killed Gandhi why did they kill him back? They could have not killed him and followed Gandhi's policy.

Nobody should clip their mouth and sit in a corner. Nobody should be quiet. Do the tit for tat. Many of you may say that these problems arise due to raising our hands. I agree, but you can always defense yourself.

Raising your hand has many different meanings like:
*Soldiers raise their hands to protect the country.
*Terrorists raise their hands to destroy a country.

Therefore, raise your hands like a soldier but not like a terrorist.

  1. Good thoughts Upasana! Keep writing! The funniest part is people should have killed a few Gandhi's close friends instead of hanging Godse. LOL. Anyways, glad to see your post.
