To My Dear Friend

Having you by my side

I knew no meaning of dejection

And without you my buddy

I learnt the meaning of lonely

All the times you were indignant

I thought the world was sold

And at times when I was upset at you

It was because of what my sinful mind 

had told

At times of my eerie laughter

And my uncouth songs

Adjacent to me were you my dear

To make me forget what awkward was

The boundless times I falter

The boundless times did you pick me up

Numerous times have you mocked me

But you stood by me when the whole world

blocked me

Joking is my diurnal chores

But not not in this song of course

You'll always be close to my heart 

Keeping aside all the brawl
